Sophia Gunter (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer originally from Norfolk, Virginia. She is a proud alumna of the Governor's School for the Arts and Shenandoah Conservatory, having recently earned her BFA in Musical Theatre!

 

Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, Sophia started her dance journey at age two! Though starting her journey with only dance, she was raised listening to the original cast recording of A Chorus Line on repeat, and has always had a sweet spot for show tunes. She began doing theatre at age 10, and hasn't looked back since! Her time at the Governor's School is one she will cherish forever! Her two-week tour of Japan in 2019, spanning 5 different cities, is just one of the incredible memories she holds near and dear to her heart.

 

Sophia is positive, witty, and loves creating with others! When she isn't performing, Sophia is likely to be cooking, eating pickles, drinking/making coffee, or watching How I Met Your Mother for the millionth time.
